The benefit estimates shown here are a projected amount using the “Unmodified” benefit option only. They are based on your earliest retirement date and your maximum age factor specific to your classification and tier. These estimates do not apply to any of the other retirement benefit options or a disability retirement. The estimates are not a guaranteed amount and are based on the information SDCERA currently has. The estimated benefit may differ from the actual benefit you receive at retirement because of events not accounted for in the calculation. You must meet particular benefit rules and eligibility requirements before SDCERA will pay you benefits.
